The Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper still brings character, still brings depth, but it sits over Nicaraguan binder and filler tuned for a mellow-to-medium profile instead of the brand's usual punch. Rolled at the San Lotano factory in Ocotal, this is Knuckle Sandwich for the smoker who has heard about the brand's reputation and wants an easier on-ramp before working up to the heavier hitters. First off. Construction was flawless on this cigar incredible smooth and even burn all the way to the end. Kudos to the blenders and rollers for that. The cigar started off very reminiscent of a privada blue cheese. Which I do enjoy. It also came off the bat with a prominent slightly sweet leather note. Once I got towards the end of the 2nd/3rd and into the final 3rd. Those blue cheese notes faded dramatically and it was purely rich black coffee and leather. Not a bad stick for what it is, but the price is just a little too much for what the flavor offers in my opinion. The saving grace was definitely the absolute perfect construction added with the beginning notes. I was able to finish it to the nub because of that. Probably not something I would buy again in all honesty. I definitely prefer the mainline, Guys birthday blends and the chefs specials way more.

It's ok, not what I was expecting for the $$$. Just glad I only picked up 2, maybe a lil age will change my mind.
