The Aganorsa Leaf Rare Leaf Reserve Connecticut is a fresh chapter in Aganorsa’s celebrated Rare Leaf Reserve line—crafted in collaboration with Cigars Daily exclusively for the Nation. This new blend joins the beloved Corojo and Maduro versions, offering a smooth yet flavor-packed experience wrapped in an elegant Connecticut Shade wrapper grown to perfection.
Hand-rolled in Nicaragua using Aganorsa’s world-famous tobaccos, the Rare Leaf Connecticut delivers a mild-to-medium body with a surprisingly rich and dynamic flavor profile. Notes of cedar, vanilla, earth, natural sweetness, and baking spices come together seamlessly, creating a balanced smoke that’s both creamy and complex. True to Aganorsa’s signature, it finishes clean, smooth, and satisfying, leaving your palate refreshed and ready for the next draw.
This cigar captures everything fans love about Aganorsa—refinement, precision, and world-class flavor—while adding a more delicate edge perfect for morning smokes, casual evenings, or pairing with coffee. The Rare Leaf Reserve Connecticut is proof that mild doesn’t mean muted—it’s a sophisticated, full-flavored celebration of what makes Aganorsa and Cigars Daily such a perfect match.

The rare leaf corojo is one of my favorite cigars. No surprise I had to try the connecticut blend. Sure enough it’s a banger. Think of the original but enveloped with a buttery creamy flavor and smoke texture. Like smoking buttered pancakes with baking spice. The only thing I could say negative about it is why this blend wasn’t made earlier with the corojo and maduro. It’s fantastic and is in competition of my top favorite shade blends. Will be buying more in the future.

Smoked 2 of these and both had wrapper issues. The first came unwrapped about half through to the head. The second developed cracks. The flavor wasnt bad but obviously hard to smoke.

Certainly not boring. Excellent CT blend with that spicy retrohale that makes Aganorsa so popular. Nutty and creamy profile. I like it. Box worthy.

Somewhat disappointed as the stick came with multiple cracks in it. Hope the others are ok. First time I have had an issue with an order so I guess I am lucky. Overall, hard to tell if I will enjoy these as ended up finishing it without the wrapper.

I’m really picky about Connecticut smokes, there are very few I care for, and, this one is now at the top of my list of favorites! Holy smokes! It’s so good! It’s well rounded, overstuffed with bright rich flavor, it’s even got a little tanginess right before the sweet finish which is prime time. I do have one complaint…that it’s not made in a Churchill length with the same ring as the toro so it didn’t have to be over so soon!

Before removing it from the cello I could see an inch long crack in the wrapper between the band and the cap. During the cut, the top half split even more. Tried to carefully adjust the band over it and that took most of the wrapper off.
The taste was not for me, all I got was just a hot burn that was rough. Even a careful retro hale was too hot. I continued to smoke it for science and out of the hope that I was just missing something. I did get the slightest hint of cream before giving up on the smoke at the middle band. That being said, it did smoke evenly and made a nice ash without 60% of the wrapper.
A friend smoked another from the same order and had the same taste experience with minor wrapper concerns.
Still love Cigars Daily and will continue to throw my money at them blindly. Always fast shipping and the best customer service.

Nick, that’s terrible news! I’m going to reach out to Customer Service and ask them to replace this for you. We’re so proud of our Daily Edition blends, and your experience matters a great deal to us. Another one will be on it’s way to you.

I’ve now smoked about 4 of these cigars and I feel confident in recommending it as a very good cigar. It has the familiar Aganorsa twang with medium plus body, long finish, and a tasty retro. I get a malted milk taste with Nicaraguan power and a sweetness from the CT wrapper. The bands are definitely over secure which makes taking them off a challenge without damaging the wrapper. Overall, box worthy and I would buy again and again.
