The never-hurried natural fermentation of an exquisite Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper ensures profound flavor in Ashton Aged Maduro. Beneath the wrapper rests a vintage interior of vibrant Dominican tobaccos. Notes of dark cocoa, molasses, almond, maple, and black pepper illustrate amazing transitions of taste. Ashton Aged Maduro is the premier companion to coffee, rum, cognac, and fine desserts.

Steller cigar ????

I had a really hard time keeping this cigar lit. The same was true for the 6×50 size. I don’t taste the tasting notes as strongly as I’d like. The tasting notes do stay consistent throughout the entire smoke.

I usually don’t gravitate towards Maduro cigars but I’m glad I gave this one a shot because I do now! The tasting notes are spot on for me and it’s a great smoke from beginning to end. No problems keeping it lit for me. I will be keeping a box on hand from now on.

The flavor that I could get was nice but the draw was so tight I maybe got through the first 3rd before throwing the thing in the campfire out of frustration.

Tried it again and this time it was a much better experience. Draw was a little tight for my preference and had to relight a couple times. Im a noob and still learning and very new to maduros. I chose this because it is recommended as a milder maduro. I think I would put it closer to the medium side of strength. Notes of milk chocolate and hickory with a natural sweetness from the maduro wrapper. I would like to try this blend in a different vitola. Thanks CD!
