San Cristobal Quintessence Epicure (6×52)
$10.25 – $221.40
Medium to full-bodied tasting notes of cedar, coffee bean, cocoa, molasses, and spice culminate wonderfully in San Cristobal Quintessence. A glistening Cuban-seed wrapper leaf harvested in Ecuador surrounds a premium aged interior of prized Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos in a handful of traditional formats. Intrigue your palate in the company of brilliant aromas with a profile that engages beyond its resonant finish. The critics in Cigar Aficionado awarded Quintessence ‘#3 Cigar of the Year’ honors with a stellar 95-point rating.

It had good flavor and an even burn. Under the band the cigar was hard as a rock. I used a draw tool multiple times and could not unclog whatever was in there. It was actually hard to push my draw tool through. Smoked it past the band to see if it would smoke properly after I got through the hard part. It didn’t so I just left it. I know it’s hand rolled and I probally got that one off cigar but it was terrible.
