Description
In recent years, Drew Estate has been pumping out blend after award-winning blend. This is the latest in the Undercrown line – a line of upper shelf cigars with top shelf flavor, and an amazing presentation. Created by the rollers of the Drew Estate factory, Undercrown uses tobaccos similar to the Liga Privada #9 but that are more readily available. Wrapped in a dark San Andres maduro wrapper, Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro starts with notes of coffee with a slight hint of spice that becomes more prominent as the cigar progresses and finishes just as strong.

One of my favorites, simple flavors that just keep coming as the stick progresses. Coffee is there at the start as the primary flavor but as the stick transitions coffee fades a of into the background as more of a spicy sensation appears. I will always have a few of these around.

I found this stick to be a little strong for my taste. Very strong notes of earthy, black coffee and unsweetened dark chocolate. The flavor remained from light-up to the nub. This may pair well with a latte or sweetened espresso drink.

If you are looking for a more affordable No.9 this is it. I almost like this more than No.9. Perfect draw, no burn issues, smooth. I get a weird pepper after taste through the nose. Not black pepper, more like those little pepercini peppers you get on the side with pizza. Delicious.
