The Umbagog uses the same Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers found on the popular Mi Querida line, but Saka and crew deemed these leaves unappealing due to minor flaws and imperfections. With Saka’s great core of aged Nicaraguan binder and long fillers proudly resting below these second-string wrappers, you still get to smoke a great medium to full-bodied smoke for a portion of the cost of their first team cousins.

I got this back in December 2018, but had just started smoking so I waited a while until I felt like I’d be able to handle the strength and appreciate it. Now, I really enjoyed this fine stick and it wasn’t as strong as I had built it up to be. And I can’t believe I’m the 1st to give it a review. I highly recommend this cigar to anyone who enjoys a flavorful, mouth watering smoke.

Ok…You have to try these. I cant believe these are considered a bundle stick. Burn and construction was perfect with great smoke output. Creamy oak with a bit of pepper (but certainly not a pepper bomb by any means).
I absolutely love these!

I was born in Pinar del Rio in the country side, the Cohiba factory is there. For me was neither difficult nor expensive to smoke quality cigars many member of my family works at that factory. I smoke cigars just in special occasions. Moving to US I have never smoke a cigar. Recently watching YouTube videos I stumbled upon this non cuban cigar world. I started smoking some non Cuban Cigars, Aladino was the first one then I tried Montecristo Classic and Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real non of them gave the appetite of continue with this journey they were bitter with lack of flavors they tasted like burned grass. This past week I was watching one of the Cigars daily videos and found out about the boutique cigars. I gave it a try and made an order from this website. They were delivered today and I have to tell you this cigar Umbagog Robusto is the only cigar so far here in the US that has giving me back the joy of smoking. This cigar is full of flavors, clean taste to the point I almost smoke my fingers. I’m not exaggerating. I’m going to order a 25 pack to place it in my humidor. Thank you

This one took me back! Something in this that reminded me of the Italia i smoked oh so many years ago. I loved the Italia and wish yall carried the smaller sizes. At any rate, Umbagog was great! Very pepper forward, and the earth is pretty dirty (not in a bad way). Subtle coffee grounds, and something that keeps you guessing. Very mysterious and enjoyable but i wouldnt consider this cigar a smooth one. Put some hair on your chest and light it up!

Smoked like a high end, high priced cigar. Full of flavor. Smooth draw with a perfect burn. Ashed in the second third then again when I got to the nub. I want more.

Man it’s crazy this cigar is under 8$ it was such a clean tasting smoke. I got really strong coffee and chocolate flavor. The appearance was stellar as well it had a oily black wrapper with a nice toothyness to it.

Great from start to finish! Notes of coffee/leather/chocolate and gentle spice. Great burn/draw and construction. Will buy again!

Phenomenal stick from DTT. These are using wrappers that didn’t quite make the cut on the Mi Querida. Outstanding coffee and cocoa with a light touch of leather and some gentle spice. Nice oily and toothy wrapper as well. I’ve had about close to 10 of these and they have all been stellar. Zero construction issues with a near perfect draw, this thing just pours out the smoke, very reminiscent of Liga Privada. These are an absolute delight to smoke if you prefer a medium+ to full bodied cigar, and truly a box worthy purchase.

I smoked this on a hike which may have caused some minor burn problems, but the cigar corrected itself wonderfully. I want to try another sitting down where i can really dive into the flavors and complexity. Good everyday smoke

Great stick. Of course!

Great start, flavorful smoke was great burn was ok. But the flavor fell off at the end. But I would most definitely suggest this to anyone who would ask.

This stick offers so much flavor and complexity for the price. I smoked this cigar outside in 4 degrees Fahrenheit and never ran into any burn/construction issues. I picked up very little spice with this stick, and a lot of sweet/confectionary notes including a distinct chocolate covered cherry note on the retrohale. I honestly can’t recommend this one enough.

I wish these came in boxes of 20, the Umbagog absolutely rules.

OMG, this cigar is awesome, my favorite part was the caramel citrus flavor with some puffes tasting as they are convined with melted butter, just great
