From Halfwheel.com, “…The Tabernacle starts dry and smooth. There’s a dark chocolate overtone that sits on top of a very earthy flavor with touches of hickory and peanut butter before some toastiness enters on the finish…. It is being produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A., a factory better known for working with Pennsylvania broadleaf instead of broadleaf from Connecticut. Underneath the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper is a Mexican San Andrés binder and a blend of filler tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua, including some from Fernandez’s La Soledad farm.”

If you like BOLD, then this is for you. This was way too strong for me though, hands down the strongest cigar I’ve ever fought through. It kicked my butt up and down the street and told me to cry uncle. I refused to let it win, and nubbed it down to the end and had to take a cold shower after in the fetal position. It might be small, but damn it was strong…

Earthy and nutty with an oaky finish. No construction issues. Smoked to the nub and it didn’t get hot at all. Very good all around.
