In Steve’s own words, “The bar established by our Blue is extremely high, but I believe the Wagashi rivals it in both flavor and aroma, while also being unique with its own distinct character.” And at Cigars Daily we couldn’t agree more! The Wagashi is an absolute flavor bomb. In addition to the copious quantities of flavor and complexity that can be found in the original Brulee blend, this cigar features a flavor profile with balanced notes of almonds, coffee, caramel, and sweet cream.

Another DTT, another banger! Very smooth, creamy and doesn’t not disappoint. If you like the original sobremesa brulee, you will like the wagashi.

This is not a strong Connecticut, but the flavors are so wonderful. Delicate dessert like creaminess with superb construction. I absolutely love this cigar when I am in the mood for a mild to medium smoke. Paired really well with a cream soda and also black coffee.

Such an amazing cigar. Every pull has a slight sweetness, not quite a sweet tip but more like the tobacco is sweet with plenty of creamy smoke….very good gift for other cigar smokers.

This is my new “go to” Connecticut. This is just the right amount of everything for me… cream, sweetness, flavor, and smoothness. This is just a great stick!

This is a Veblen product (said to be good just because it’s expensive). It’s a decent cigar, but definitely not worth $20 (price at 2025 review). The flavor is ok, but I’ve had better for less money, and better construction for that matter. I shouldn’t have to constantly touch up a $20 cigar. Go get yourself anything Perdomo, Southern draw Rose of Sharon, Oscar Valladaras Super fly Connecticut, or heck, even a La aroma de Cuba Connecticut. Get more flavor and better experiences for less money. This one is not worth the money. Also, the sweetened wrapper is Off-Putting… Don’t waste your money on hype…go get a better cigar! I’m not usually this harsh on a cigar, but if you are going to charge 20 bucks (or more), then you really need to bring something amazing to the mesa (Table).

Great stick! Notes of Carmel, coffee nutty, and creamy. Definitely worth a try. Especially if you like the Brulee Blue Sobremesa.

Not my favorite Connecticut but it’s good. I prefer the original Sobremesa.
