Dunbarton’s Red Meat Lovers is an ovation to microblends that are just too damn good to be kept in the dark. Originally released as a small blend for the Red Meat Lover’s Club, this series was so tasty and so sought-after that brand owner Steve Saka has turned it into a full production national line. If ever there was a cigar that deserved to have the words ‘Red Meat Lover’ scrolled across the band, this is it. The reddish hue to the wrapper offer a visual appeal that draws the imagination to the image of a perfectly cooked steak. Then when you light up this powerhouse cigar, you’ll taste a completely bold and balanced flavor profile with notes of leather, earth, cocoa, oak, chocolate, and savory umami.
Packaged in boxes of 10, you won’t want to miss out on an experience that treats the tongue to a complex full strength flavor that can only come from the famed tobaccos selected by Steve Saka and Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust. Get yours today and savor the flavor for hours!

Fantastic smoke with amazing flavors.
Call me crazy but I swore it tasted like sautéed mushrooms. But in a good way.
Very smooth and full.

Solid cigar! Great draw, smoke, burn and ash @ 64% humidity. Nice notes of earth, leather and a tad bit of dark chocolate. Would definitely buy again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderfully made cigar. Flavor was exceptional, with a nice draw and burn. One of my favorite stogies. I highly recommend the Red Meat Lovers line of cigars. They are excellent,

I like Dunbarton cigars. The smoke they provide is abundant, and Saka cracks me up.
I however only found this Red Meat Lover’s stick to be decent. I did not hate it, or even really dislike it, but thought it lacked complexity for the price. It was a spice bomb early on, and settled into an even mix of leather and burning earth. That sounds horrible to some, and it wasn’t my favorite, yet I didn’t hate it either— as it was at least consistent and not crippling my taste buds.
I just wanted a bit more. Some sweeter notes and a coffee signature toward the end would’ve hit for me. I have read that some could taste such notes. I didn’t this particular evening.
Anyway, give it a try and form your own opinion. We all taste things differently, and I’m always open to new things.
I like many different profiles too, yet this one just missed for the most part. I still gave it 3 stars though, as my grading is pretty straight forward. A 1 to me is literal dog filth, and a 2 is barely smokable. So a three is decent, maybe around and/or above average for my taste buds.
