Twenty-five years is a long time to stay relevant in the premium cigar world, and the Punch Rare Corojo has done exactly that. Since its debut in the early 2000s, Rare Corojo has been one of the most recognizable Honduran blends on the market — bold, spicy, and built on the legendary Corojo leaf that traces its roots back to Cuba’s golden age. To mark a quarter century on the shelves, Punch didn’t just slap an anniversary band on the same stick. They went deeper.
This 25th Anniversary Toro is an entirely new blend, rolled at Julio Eiroa’s Fábrica de Puros Aladino factory in the Jamastran Valley — the same team behind CLE, Aladino, and some of the finest Honduran tobacco in the world. The result is a Honduran puro built from the ground up around Corojo: Corojo wrapper, Corojo binder, Corojo and Habano filler. The 6×54 Toro delivers bold, layered notes of cedar, warm baking spice, earth, and leather with that signature Punch punch on the retrohale. Not a limited edition — this one’s staying in the lineup for good.
