From plasenciacigars.com, “Plasencia Reserva Original has the very same taste that captivated the Europeans more than five centuries ago, when they arrived in the New World. It features notes of nuts, fruits, and caramel with delicate nuances of marzipan and final hints of cedar.”

Started off so good. Sweet almonds, fruit, raisins. The last two thirds however mainly featured hard woods. All three bands on this stick were difficult to remove too.

I had received one to try. This cigar was extremely smooth throughout and I noticed very little change in taste. The ash was solid. Over an hour of smoking enjoyment. Great packaging, as always!

Thoroughly enjoyed this. I got notes of caramel and cream, along with just a little bit of cinnamon spice (not cinnamon sugar, just cinnamon). Super smooth flavor, even on the retrohale. Construction was great. The ash held on for a while on and it had a razor sharp burn line. The flavor notes held all the way through, but added a nice nuttiness towards the end. Tons of smoke output. This is now one of my favorites, and I’m really happy I got a whole box to enjoy!
