The world’s highest elevation cigar, grown at a breathtaking 1,300 meters above sea level within the most cherished Plasencia family estate; Finca San Julián in Condega. The Alma del Cielo flavor journey opens with a rich, creamy sweetness of marzipan and honey, accented by subtle hints of nougat. As the cigar evolves, earthy undertones weave through, accompanied by delicate traces of orange zest. The heart of the smoke unveils warm cedar and more nougat, while the finish delivers a harmonious crescendo, with a refined touch of ginger spice that lingers gently.

Excellent blend but not quite worth the hype. Everybody was stoked for “high altitude “tobacco. Great marketing idea but it’s just like the other Plasencia blends. Nothing special and in my opinion not correlatable to a 21 dollar price point. It’s mild but flavorful. I’ll stick with either a single or 5 pack here.

Very smooth and creamy at light up with a slight spice kick. Solid earthy flavor notes and cedar in the 1st 3rd that carried into the 2nd 3rd. In the 2nd 3rd, I’m still getting some earth, but it has more of a nuttiness/almond flavor more than anything. It’s still very smooth with every puff. Towards the end of the 2nd 3rd, I’m getting that spice again, which is gripping the back of the throat. The spice is not overwhelming but very suttle and isn’t lingering. In the final 3rd, the spice has faded away, along with the earthiness, and almond/nuttiness has taken over completely. Not much flavor development in the final 3rd, but it really didn’t need it, in my opinion. Still great flavor of nuttiness/almond with that smoothness. The draw was a tad too loose for my liking and would have preferred for it to be a little tighter, but it was consistent throughout the cigar. I had absolutely no issues with the burn and needed no touch-ups showing great construction for a box pressed cigar. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this cigar but mostly for a special occasion because of the price point.

This cigar has a unique flavor profile. It’s difficult to attribute it to taste like this or that. I enjoyed It’s complexity & uniqueness. To me worth the price of admission.
