Perdomo Lot 23 started out as an experimental seed planted in a virgin field that Nick Perdomo named, in elegant fashion, Lot 23. The field produced a small batch of tabaccos that were carefully blended together, 6 years later, bringing about this unique Nicaraguan Handmade cigar. The wrapper is a beautiful caramel brown Connecticut rolled around a rich blend of dark Nicaraguan filler and binder serving an ample amount of creaminess throughout the cigar.

Eric –
How is it a Connecticut? And be so dark? I haven’t tried it personally so I cant give it a justified score.

A go-to with coffee in the morning. A little bit of a punch but mostly in flavor. Not overbearing in strength.

Can’t argue with the price! I don’t typically shop for sun grown so i chose this one as my first. Not too dry but not very oily either. Just smooth notes of raisins, caramel, and light coffee. Let’s call it a caramel macchiatto! I felt the spice in my throat but no taste which was a nice experience to make it more medium body. Perdomo quality is a cut above the rest and this was no exception. If i want a solid, easy, less complex smoke, i’ll keep this in mind.

Absolutely loved this cigar, I got hints of toffee in the first 2 thirds that turned into Coffee in the final third. Very smooth end to end with a perfect draw.
