The Perdomo Legacy Nicaraguan Shade-Grown is a medium to full-bodied blend featuring rare, reddish-brown Nicaraguan Shade-Grown wrappers, which are bale-aged for 10 years and then carefully aged in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 10 months. Each cigar is expertly crafted with the finest Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binders and fillers from the Perdomo family’s most prestigious farms in Estelí, Condega, and the famed Jalapa Valley. The result is a beautiful Nicaraguan “puro” with rich, complex smoke, well-balanced spice, and subtle hints of oak on the finish.

Great stick. It’s a toss up between this and the Connecticut for me. Knocked one star as I had some pretty bad muddying of flavor in the final third of one. Might have smoked too fast, not sure. Glad I picked up a 5 pack.

Ok so the hype for this new seed varietal is definitely overhyped! I love it do not get me wrong but with all the hype i expected it to be so much more then what it was, that being said as a huge fan of Sun Grown wrappers this next evolution of that is amazing. I do love it and its my favorite of the three Legacy cigars. However, as mentioned, the hype around it is a bit overdone. The flavor is mellow and smooth, nothing over the top, but a very rich mellow flavor, which i get sounds opposed to each other,r how can it be Rich and Mellow, and its hard to explain but it is. The flavors are not overly strong nicotine-wise wise but they are defined and present. Excellent cigar way to go, Nicholas and the entire Perdomo family!

My first legacy. It was amazing in terms of flavor, I got a strange citrus note right in the middle. It would get 5 stars, but mine had construction issues in the first third. First third was too tight of a draw, which is shocking for Perdomo, after that, it began burning well and the draw improved. It was still very nice.
