John Vanek (verified owner) –
Perdomo really knocks it out of the park with barrel aged sun grown cigars. I’ve had over a dozen cases of their Habano barrel aged sun grown. I even keep a case in my humidor routinely. So when I saw the Perdomo 12 year sun grown I had to try it. The 12 year is definitely a smooth medium blend. Solid construction, even burn, consistent flavor profile of oakyness, and pulls good. Took about an hour and half to smoke. For a Churchill it is on the larger side so you definitely get your money’s worth. The bourbon barrel aged sun grown has subtle nuances and is easy on the palate. If your looking for a medium blend with subtle nuances I’d definitely recommend you try one. I’ll be ordering more in the future.
