Description
After giving this blend an impressive 92 rating, Cigar Aficionado had this to say about it, “Just the sweet spot. That was the tagline for the NUb concept when it first came out. It claimed that the cigar needed no time to warm up or develop, but was able to localize the most flavorful portion of a cigar and keep the smoker there from first draw to the last. Whether or not this concept is true is a matter of opinion, but we found the NUb Cameroon to burn cool, smoke well and deliver loads of nutty, earthy flavor. NUbs have successfully infiltrated the culture of premium cigars. Since the brand’s debut in 2008, anytime a cigar is short and fat, smokers will casually refer to it as a nub, no matter the brand. They are made by Oliva Cigar Co. but marketed under Studio Tobac, which is the more creative, experimental arm of Oliva.

Absolutely incredible. This cigar smokes really well. The flavors and finish were on point. Great flavor from light up to finish. The burn and draw were incredible. That wrapper gave it a little punch that I liked. Definitely getting more and at under $7. Great stick!

Little flavor bomb. Great flavor from light up to finish. I use a punch cut for NUB and it creates a smooth draw. Great construction leaves a nice long ash. Lots of nutty flavor with a little spice lingering on your tongue. Perfect medium cigar.

From the light up, these sticks have a great flavor. I find myself still enjoying the taste hours after finishing. I have a busy life and these Nubs are the perfect size to enjoy within the time that I can set aside. Great smoke!

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would, generally I’m not a fan of wide cigars but this was quite good. Good construction, even burn, did burn hot but that’s likely my fault, I tend to smoke too fast.

Not a quick smoke like the size would suggest. A very enjoyable cigar with consistent flavor throughout. Nice, smooth draw (with a straight cut). Will be keeping these in stock!

Got 4 of these in the “Nub-a-dub-dub” sampler deal. I have previous experience with the NUB Habano, and like that one.
Tried one a couple of weeks ago, and it was impossible to draw. Gave up on it.
Went for a second chance today, super tight draw again, so I tried to loosen it up with a draw tool I recently got from Cigars Daily.
It pulled a little easier, not much. Wasn’t much to write home about. I loved the Oliva Serie G, so I was excited about this one but left disappointed. Possible I just got four from the worst batch produced, I suppose.

This is my personal favorite in the Cameroon wrapper line, also in the nub line. I’ve never found a toothier African wrapper in any other blend. when I’m craving the Cameroon flavor, it’s either this or the new world blend but for someone who wants a larger ring gauge, it’s almost a shame this exact blend isn’t a toro length. Very solid construction and consistency
