“Tabacos Baez-Serie SF, where SF stands for Short-Filler also known as “Cuban-Sandwich”, is the first Short-Filler brand created by My Father Cigars as a house brand. It is a Medium-Bodied blend perfectly balanced and finished with an oily Habano-Nicaraguan wrapper that provides the cigar with a touch of coffee notes. They are packaged in a Cabinet Box style that holds 20 cigars. The vivid green of the box with gold accents provides a truly distinctive presentation.” – From the website of My Father Cigars.

I’m gonna give this one 5 stars for now:the first one was actually surprisingly good, good draw, great appearance, not as fast a smoke(60 min.) as I expected from a short filler.Whatever was used as filler and binder seems to have been from very high quality tobaccos. I get creamy buttery, sweet spices, nuts coffee, just a little pepper, just right.A light medium cigar.I bought 5 more.

This cigar was pretty good. However for me personally I did not find the flavor to be as good as I would have liked it to be. Was definitely still a good smoke, but personally the flavor didn’t have a lot of body and was somewhat bland. Also on the one that I smoked there was quite a few thick veins on it and with my perfecdraw I pulled out a 1.5″ stem, so this is why I rated it a 4/5 stars.
Overall I would still recommend this cigar despite the construction discrepancy.

Sampled a few of these awhile ago while trying to find a cheaper daily smoke. Literally tried all the short filler cigars y’all carry and ended up buying a box of these as they were my favorite. On my second to last cigar from that box and I can now say these are the ones for me. A good medium to me with very nice flavors of high quality tobacco. I am just saddened that these are sold out because I need to order another box or two ASAP!!! I highly recommend these!

This might be the worst cigar I’ve ever purchased from CD. The burn is horrible and the flavor profile is100% not my cup of tea. I know this is a budget stick but for the price, buy a factory smoke instead.

Not much flavor in this stick. It smoked good, don’t get me wrong but I was not happy about the flavor. Very mild and bland for my taste.

I’ve smoked 20 of these so far from CD. The wrapper looks dark in the picture on the website but mine are more of a dark reddish brown, thick vein, bumpy wrapper, light weight but solid, not spongy. It has a nicer band than you’d expect from a $3 cigar. The “Cut and a light” sometimes cuts the cap so I recommend a V cut instead of a strait cut. DO NOT retro hale the first 5-6 puffs of this cigar, your nasal will not thank you, but it does get way smoother after that. It has a tendency to go out. The smoke is a medium body with a light nicotine level, with good output. Some have tunneling issues, which is to be expected with short filler cigars. The flavor profile is consistent until the final third where it picks up more on coffee and pepper. There’s cedar wood, with earthy spice, this is one cigar you don’t want to over smoke unless you enjoy jalapeño spice on your lips. You will have to make touch ups on some. The ash is a medium flaky grey and it burns fairly quickly. The $3.60 price I think is a bit high, I would put it at about $2.50 and I would give it an 83 score. The fact that it’s made by My Father kinda makes me expect more out of a cigar but if it wasn’t, I would probably have a better opinion of it. Should probably be offered in a bundle but the fact it comes with a box is really cool. A descendant everyday smoke.

no idea why people rated this stick so low. great construction and consistency for the money. Not a ton of flavor but its definitely pleasant and great for a 3$ stick

New to cigars but I’m happy with this stick. Had to touch up a few times and not anything crazy. Flavor was smooth and constant for the first 2/3, last bit got a little sharper on the tip of the tongue. Would have been better I’m sure if I could retrohale. Ash held on good even with touching up. All in all great for the price point and I will buy again and buy some of the other My Fathers in the future.

My best experience with a short filler cigar so far. It’s got a nice medium drag and good flavor. I got it to reach the $79.99 free shipping and oh boy was it the right choice.

My first time trying this one and I was impressed! The burn was even and well shaped throughout the first third and the notes I was getting was some chocolate and nutty. I will buy a batch of these great price cigars!

I bought two of the to try, and I have to say I was really disappointed in the experience. The RH of the stick was 64%, and has been in a thermoelectric humidor, but it was just bland and a disappointment, even for a $3.50 cigar I had no expectations of greatness from. It is the first cigar I’ve ever abandoned in the first third. Also, construction wise, the cap detached after a standard V-cut.
Maybe this one is just a dud. I hope the other one redeems it.

Great budget smoke. Good flavor throughout with a little kick in the beginning. Ash held on for dear life for over half the stick and burn was perfect. Great stick to stock!
