My Father Honduras Blue is about a new chapter in the legacy of My Father Cigars. The Garcia family has now made a colossal move to not only grow tobacco in the Talanga region of Nicaragua, but to build a 78,000 sq/ft cigar factory in El Paraiso, Honduras. This cigar represents the first project from that factory. The blend features an extremely rare Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper over Criollo and Corojo seed Honduran tobaccos from the Garcia’s own farms. The resulting flavor is a brilliant, bold, but earthy flavor with robust tasting notes of cedar, cocoa, and citrus.

thoroughly enjoyed this one!
from the first whiff which reminded me a bit of chocolate chip cookies, to the flavor notes of cacao and (very subtle) peppermint mocha, accompanied by a cayenne warmth from start to finish…
this ~medium strength stick was even better than the high expectation i have for anything MyFather.
i’m looking forward to trying this in the other formats, but this robusto will be tough to beat.

I don’t have near the knowledge that a lot of the reviewers have, trying to learn, but I know what I like. I love this cigar; glad I was able to get a box before it sold out. Burned well, draw was flawless, and the taste was incredible with my whiskey.

I wasn’t sure what to think on the first stick. It’s a very different flavor. The dominant flavor note reminds me of an earthy smell vary much like the clean musk smell after a thunderstorm. On my third stick and I love it. Solid burn, average draw, good construction. It’s a good cigar

A very nice addition to the My Fathers line. Smooth as silk and a very even burn. This is a very good cigar for the new smoker to get started on

I very much enjoyed this lovely well-constructed cigar. My palate enjoyed the delicious flavor notes immensely. Top quality cigar all the way. Worth a try if you haven’t yet. It’s the good stuff.

Presentation is beautiful. Comes in a exquisite blue painted box. Branding is the usual classic and regal My Father label and logos. My box however, it’s main label is comically not aligned. It at least °22 off to the side, as is apparent that literally somebody slapped it on which is a shame because it really detracts from an otherwise flawless presentation.
Construction is good, but has a slight taper on the end to the light box press.
Aroma is distinctally peanuts and cedar, woah, that’s different.
Light up is cedar, plain potato chips, a little black pepper on the back end.
First third, Cedar, hay, cayenne, menthol, a little cream creeps in. Interesting. No burn issues.
Second third, long ash, burning quick with no issues. Really mellows out. Subtle flavors of cedar, hay, grass, weird flavor of butternut squash maybe? Still some menthol floating around here and there.
Final third, still the same great consistency. Cedar, hay, spicy chocolate.
On the nub. Straight up cedar, mint and sea grass.
Would pair well with an IPA or a Japanese whiskey .
In conclusion. All and all an exceptional cigar and definitely a unique one in the cigar world, it’s only these flavors not landing in my wheelhouse keeping it from getting a higher score.

It’s a very attractive cigar with an easy draw and even burn. The flavors are rich, balanced, and complex. Having evaluated cigars objectively for nearly 30 years, I concur with Cigar Insider’s review and score of 91 points. It’s worth having a box of these in your humidor.
