The Gurkha Revenant Corojo is a medium-strength cigar that sports a Honduran Corojo Colorado wrapper placed over a Cameroon binder and filler composed of Nicaraguan and Dominican Corojo 98 leaves. The blend was developed by Ram Rodriguez of Tabacalera El Artista. The Revenant includes the first line that El Artista has crafted for Gurkha.

I’ve had MANY bad Gurkha cigars (all online purchases from before discovering Cigars Daily), but this one blend redeems the brand for me. There are MANY great Corojos available (Aganorsa, Gran Habano, Warfighter, etc.), but finding a halfway decent one in the $7 price range is a feat. While it will never replace the higher end brands/blends, it is a great budget-stretcher for that everyday fix! On my 3rd box in 6 months.
