From Gran Habano’s website: The Rico family history in tobacco stretches back to 1920, when Guillermo Rico’s grandfather began growing dark tobacco. His father succeeded him in 1946, and Guillermo recalls following him around the fields as a child and his mother rolling cigars at home. That legacy continues today in Gran Habano with a strong sense of family tradition embedded into every cigar made in Danlí, Honduras, where in 1998 the factory was established and became the birthplace of our premium cigars and the quintessential Gran Habano look.

Very light draw. Good burn but ash does not hold on at all. Otherwise a nice light stick but overall I’m a little disappointed. CD has better options.

Did the second of my bunch today. Despite a dry and broken foot my experience was much better. Ash hung on, flavours etc good this time around. Had to touch up the burn in the first third probably due to the dry/damaged foot. Draw a litttle stronger this time round so better for me. ????

Nice stick. Great flavor. Pretty even burn, just needed a minir touch up a couple time. First two thirds had nice notes of cream, toast and leather. I picked up coffee and nuts in the final third. More of a mild stick but it did go towards medium in the final third. Used a colibri V cut and had a nice smooth draw throughout.

Not quite a 90 but super well priced and lasted more than it should about 1 h 30 min. Good bang for your buck. Flavorful and even burn for me. Very toasty but creamy also, with sweet tobacco notes. Interesting blend, not at all mild or boring, just a slight bitterness on the finish that lingers. Leather was kind of a twist in the end. Gran Habano kept it classy on this one.
