I’ve smoked a 10 pack of these so far, and it has a nice flavor profile with some sweetness from the wrapper. The smoke is medium light, with a light nicotine level. It comes with a nice looking Maduro wrapper, good construction but I’ve have some tunneling issues with a couple of them which seems to have corrected itself half way through. I wouldn’t go as far as to give this cigar an 87 though, to me it’s more like an 80. I would say that it’s nice for the price however. It holds a good ash and burns fairly even. Nice to see a long filler offered in a bundle price. It’s pretty descent for an everyday smoke. There’s some earth and wood flavors with a slight spice to them. The smoke output is okay with a pretty smooth retro hale.

This gets 5 stars from me based on construction, ability to stay lit, even draw, decent flavor, and especially the price. Have i had better? Yes, but starting at 2x the price. Can you find another long filler cigar for under $5? It’s not a super-rich maduro, but the flavor is fine, gets peppery in the final third, and it doesn’t collapse the way “cuban sandwiches” often do. Terrific for a casual gathering, and at this price you can (and should) bring some for everyone.
