Great smoke all the way through. Smooth and rich with notes of chocolate and spice. Great construction and burned evenly through the whole thing.

Really good cigar! The cold draw was sweet like berries and cream, nice leather and spice on the light up. Burned great all the way through. Will be picking up more!!!

So same as the last a straight cut was used once again to commence the smoking experience of the (El Rey Del Mundo Natural Reserva Salado) Once the cap was removed it was on to the pre-light draw phase. The dry draw delivered a nice mix of tobacco, cedar, leather, and light chocolate notes. This was a satisfying pre-light draw and I moved on to lighting up the (El Rey Del Mundo Natural Reserva Salado) and entering the smoking stage of this cigar.
The (El Rey Del Mundo Natural Reserva Salado) kicked off with notes of super creamy cedar, chocolate , and some woodiness. The coffee and chocolate notes can form a fusion that I call “mocha”, but in this case the notes were distinct. Early on the creamy cedar and sweet smoky notes moved into the forefront. The coffee notes settled in the background. Meanwhile, the retro-hale delivered additional layers of light spice, floral notes almost citrusy, and creamy cedar.
During the second third of the cigar, the creamy cedar sweetness intensified, along with notes of toasted nuts surfaced on the tongue which was very tasty and surprising. There was a gradual increase in the spice and some woody notes from behind. The coffee and chocolate notes also remained. Toward the end of the second third, it started to lose its creamy cedar, but still stayed sweet through the final third, it did start to get a bit spicy as well.
The final third saw a very spicy profile from the wood and cedar notes. This was slightly rounded out by the coffee, and cocoa notes but not by much at all. Those coffee notes turned a little bitter and the chocolate went to a dark chocolate. Overall it was a great cigar I thoroughly enjoyed it, it had a good burn, nice long ash as well as construction but the final 3rd did it in for me so for this stick I give it 4 stars.

I tried this on the recommendation of El Rey del Terrance. Glad I tried it but I was not impressed. I may try other El Reys but I’m not in a hurry.
