From DrewEstate.com, “Skillfully manufactured at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, alongside the same buncheros and rolleros who create premium cigars, Factory Smokes by Drew Estate are economically priced due to their bulk manufacturing and less expensive bundle packaging. A handmade value priced line of cigars perfect for sharing with your friends on a Monday, mowing the lawn, washing the car, you know, smoke it, enjoy it, toss it if you must, then grab another.
From the Wynwood Safehouse, Jonathan Drew, Founder & President of Drew Estate, ‘Our expansion in the bundle business was a decision we did not take lightly. Bundles aren’t glamorous and the efficiency required to produce them effectively is not easily reached, which is why there aren’t a ton of entrants innovating in the value priced space. This is long overdue for Drew Estate, and when we reached the production scale required to compete we knew we wanted to do what we do, and disrupt the space with an innovative, deep value line of quality smokes for a broad set of thrifty individuals.'”

I’ve been smoking some great quality cigars lately and thought I would not enjoy this maduro from Drew Estate… it’s actually really good! Burns well, plenty of flavour (barnyard, choc, raisin toast, pine, stevia) strength is mid to low so good there too. 42mins at the half way point now so it looks like over an hour to smoke. At $2 each with a discount my thrifty Scottish roots are nourished 🙂
Ive rated this highly in its category of economic cigars.

This stick is worth it pretty smooth I got notes for espresso, hay, pepper, dark chocolate overall is enjoyed it wasn’t too strong more like medium flavor the pepper gives little kick but nothing to worry about great stick for the price

New to smoking cigars but I know my palate like spicy foods, dark coffee and stout beer. Upon watching the video of beginner Maduros this Drew Estate was highly recommended and I tell you what it did not disappoint! Great flavor and for the price you can’t beat it. I’m still new but I could def pick up the notes of chocolate/espresso, earth(I think lol) and nice pepper on the retro. Def going to be one of my fav everyday smokes!

Factory smokes was a solid smoke. Somewhat flat at light. It eventually came around with some pepper and earthy notes in the second third. This cigar got dinged a little because it smoked so much. It lasted about an hour and 10 min and had a real good finish. Will get more to thrown in the humidor. Great value for $2 a stick.

These are pretty good for the price point. I had one that didn’t burn evenly all the way down (even after touch ups). I mostly got earthy and peppery notes and it’s a nice light-medium strength. If you’re looking for a budget maduro for every day, these are worth trying.

For $2 this cigar is really good. Got some spice, dark coffee, and earthiness to it. Will definitely be an everyday smoke for me. Does require some touching up every so often which does not bother me at this price. If your a man like me on a family budget but want to have a cigar every night, these are perfect!

Took less than 10 drags and stopped smoking it. Would’ve given 1 star but its a cheap cigar.

Definitely an everyday day smoke and for 2 bucks you can’t go wrong. Now don’t confuse this for premium cigar, but none the less, this stick is very worth it. The Note you taste are expresso, slight pepper, leather and cedar it’s a must buy.

Five stars for a $2 cigar. Burn was nice and even. Draw was very smooth. Tons of thick white smoke clouds. I thought this maduro had pretty good flavor. Haven’t had a bad factory smokes yet.

Great cigar for a great price. Upon lighting up, I tasted toasty nutty flavor which stayed consistent through the entire smoke. Nice even burn, never had to touch it up. Seemed like it burned for over an hour, which I really like. Towards the end of the second third It gets a bit spicy but over all maintains toasty nutty flavor.

One of the better cheapo cigars. Very affordable and a pleasant smoke.

Surprisingly good for a budget stick. Plenty of flavor, burn was as expected for such a cheap cigar. Made for a good smoke mowing the lawn.

I love these cigars. They’re inconsistent from stick to stick. I got one that tasted like I was eating a Hershey’s milk chocolate candy bar, I wish I could get ‘‘em all that way but some have a lot of pepper, also you’ll find leather, earth, coffee and sometimes espresso. Some need touch ups down the whole stick but I’ve seen some burn down even like long filler holding a 2” ash. I got to try this robusto from a “Sweet” upgrade from CD. I ordered 50 toros, and got 22 toros, 4 robusto’s, and 25 6×60’s to fill the order. I’ve officially adopted these as my EDS. I’ve smoked about 125 of them in the last 5 weeks. I know the price will go up because they are good. They are definitely the best short filler cigars I’ve found yet. They’re a light Maduro with a light nicotine level and medium to low body. Sometimes the flavor profile is on the light side and sometimes their medium flavor. Don’t give up on these by just smoking one or two of them. Overall you’ll get more good ones in a bundle than bad. The draw is usually pretty good. The cap does break easily with a strait cut but I’ve found that a V cut works much better. It has a nice retro hale with some light pepper. Some have tunnel issues, but I’ve found that keeping them in the humidor for two weeks at 72% has kept that issue at bay a lot more, or so it seems. One day you will see these on top 25 cigar aficionados…(that was a joke) but I do recommend trying these and give them a real chance, for $2 you can’t lose much.

Cold Scent: Definitely a semi sweet smell, almost like chocolate. Coffee is there as well.
Flavor: There’s a singular punch of coffee the whole time you smoke this thing. No complexity at all but it’s very enjoyable. Spice is almost non-existent compare to the other offering in the FS line-up. The last inch introduces a tiny bitter taste, but it doesn’t detract from the experience. It’s easy to see why these sell out so much.

Makes an excellent everyday smoke. It has good flavor and construction for a “Cuban sandwich”.

Shocked at how good this was

I’m just getting into the darker wrapper/heaver cigars and this one knocked it outta the park for me. Aside from some minor construction problems it was great!
