Awesome cigar! Very tasty perfect draw and great smoke. Paired it with some Redwood Empire Lost Monarch blended whiskey. Perfect way to end the night.

If you could make a Hershey chocolate bar into a cigar this would be the end result. Definitely a dessert stick but my God what a dessert it will be!

My first Deadwood & it is awesome! This cigar is not overly sweet…perfect flavor & sweetness balanced with a touch of cinnamon spice. Box worthy for sure!

Compared to Sweet Jane/Fat Bottom Betty, Leather Rose has a bit more “earth” flavor, I see why she’s called Leather Rose. The most traditional cigar flavor out of the Yummy line. Very enjoyable.

Bought this at my local brick and mortar. I thought I could taste I little cinnamon and some chocolate notes. I really don’t think that the sweetened tip was my thing but I really enjoyed this cigar! Great draw, ash, a pretty even smoke, and the burn line wasn’t that hot.

Drew Estate is my intro to cigars. I first tried the Deadwood Leather Rose based on two factors. I like most cigars DE makes and I like the bands. This smoke is sweet but not too sweet, mellow and has a great draw. I have paired this with everything from a cherry cola to glass of scotch. I really have no complaints about this stick.

Has a More earthy taste. Has chocolate notes but very subtle it does have a sweetened leaf but not too sweet. I can say Drew Estates deadwood line does not disappoint no matter which one you get.

Loved this cigar! The sweetness from the wrapper lasted through the entire cigar, and the taste was great. I definitely recommend!

Awesome Stick! It’s a sweet tip cigar but not overbearing. You can taste the chocolate notes … perfect flavor and sweetness balance. My wife really enjoyed as well. It’s a big win when the wife joins you for a good smoke. It’s must a buy!

My first cigar ever was this beauty. I’ve tried quite a few others since, but have yet to find another that grabbed me as much as this one did.
Great draw, smoke, and ash.
Earthy, medium flavor, with a tiny pinch of cinnamon. Top it off with a lightly flavored wrap that has hints of milk chocolate. Great for the “weekend smoker” like me.
Would also be great as an after-dinner smoke when you have a little bit of a sweet craving.

Much too sweet for my taste.

If you like a sweet cigar this is for you.

The construction is good, the draw is great, and it burns well.
But… way too sweet. And in my opinion, it’s not a good sweet. It is like they soaked the tobacco in artificial sweetener and rosewater. I get this super artificial sweet rosewater taste/smell in the retrohale. I forced myself to smoke the whole thing because I paid for the Cigar. I was hoping it would get better and more balanced if I smoked it longer. The last third was slightly better with hints of leather, etc. I was surprised because other reviews were positive. I was expecting a little sweet, but wow! If you enjoy these more power to you, but it’s not my thing.
Is the rest of the deadwood line like this? Let me know. I wanted to like these.
