2023 being the 20th Anniversary of the Don Pepin Garcia brands, it was fitting that we create and release a celebratory “Vintage Edition” cigar to honor this milestone. The Vintage in the name references the “retro style” band not the age of the tobaccos. This band is very similar to the very first Don Pepin Band that My Father knew existed, circa 1930-1935. The cigar features a Nicaraguan grown Corojo 99 wrapper leaf and will have fillers and binders from Nicaragua.

The draw was good. Just a tad tight. The cigar smoked very well with solid construction. Very toothy and oily wrapper. The flavor started off with too much grass hay for me. But for those that like it, it developed well.
