From americanvikingcigars.com, “The origin of this cigar begins with a statue of the Mother Mary. The statue is carved out of marble and features Mary wearing a veil. It’s a pretty incredible piece of art that matches the strength of marble with delicately carved features. And that’s exactly how we feel about the Dama Valada. This blend combines the full throttle strength of a Nicaraguan Rosado Oscura Luz wrapper leaf with delicate flavor notes of espresso, leather, dark chocolate, and a vanilla sweetness from the wrapper leaf.”
Dama Valada Toro (6×52)

Really enjoyed this stick. Smelled great, well-constructed. Only got one and there was a 1/4″ crack near the foot of the cigar, but that could just be shipping damage. YMMV.
As far as the smoking experience, great full bodied smoke. Strong pepper in the first third, with chocolate and leather flavors throughout. Highly recommend this smoke.

An excellent cigar with great flavors with clear transitions. You don’t have to have a sensitive palate to taste these flavors, They’re bold not over powering and smooth. This is a cigar that i will always have in my humidor.

Far exceeded my expectations for a new cigar brand. Construction was perfect. Burn and smoke output was good. Had great flavors throughout the stick with nice transitions. Will definitely keep a box around at all times.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite cigars. The burn is razor sharp and the flavors are outstanding.

i ordered a 5 pack of these without ever trying one based off the description. super stoked, stick was full of flavor, burned great, great draw, and good smoke output. taste was smooth. i just ordered a v-cutter from you and cannot wait to try one with a v cut to see the difference in flavor/draw

Paired with Gentleman Jack, neat. Punch cut, smoke time 55 minutes.
Cold draw was very peppery, firm, but not too firm draw. Smoke output was good.
It started off smooth with a spicy finish. Consistently peppery on the retrohale through the whole cigar.
Very nice presentation and construction, although the band takes a little getting used to and the burn needed correction at the beginning of the last third.
Bitter citrus notes after a hint of cocoa, this one literally smelt ammonia free.
I could see how a few of these in the humidor would come in handy to change up the taste of whatever the regular daily smoke may be.
Nice smoke, definitely on the more full bodied side of medium.

Bought the American Viking sampler pack, and was really looking forward to the Filthy Viking as the description fit exactly what I normally like in cigars. The Dama Valada was the last stick I smoked, and I had unknowingly saved the best for last.
Good Lord, I LOVE this stick. Ordered more after that, and will continue to buy/smoke these as I go through them. Can’t wait to visit the shop when I’m in AZ, and burn one of these is the CD lounge. Well done y’all, you nailed it with this one.

This cigar delivered what it promised. Rich, robust flavors full of chocolate, espresso, some nuttiness… with just the right kick of spice.
For under $10, this is a great buy. Kudos to Tim and team. I’m a fan.

Very solid cigar here. Consistent flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, grass, and or hay. Great burn and draw. There’s a little bitterness towards the end, but the flavors are still there. I got that wonderful mouth watering effect, which I’ve notice is only in good cigars. This is just that. Fantastical.

This is a perfect stick for those who want to move up from mild cigars. I get leather and cedar with just the right amount of spice that isn’t overwhelming. I found that the first and second thirds remain consistent with its flavors and overall an enjoyable smoke!

This is a great stick! Great blending Tim! Bought a box. I particularly like the nuttiness and sweetness from the srapper. Nice medium bodied stick that keeps ip with the complexity of big name brands. I hands down recommend if you like nuttiness on your flavor wheel. Now if I could just get a Billy Chicky sticker, I would be as content as a bug in a rug!

I’m about half way through it and I say Tim you have good taste. Mostly picked up notes of chocolate and leather. Very little pepper through the retrohale, other wise I find it to be quite smooth and creamy. That is all I won’t leave a thousand word essay like some of the dolts in the review section of this website.
