The last time i had an Italia might have been 2008. At that time it was the most spicy of cigars i had had. I’ve grown quite a bit since then but it still holds a special place with me. This time i was able to appreciate the smooth natural vanilla sweetness and burnt earthiness. I also enjoyed the subtle cacao and rustic rich leather. I was hesitant to revisit such an old favorite but i’m very glad i did! It hasn’t lost it’s charm.

Beginning taste was great. It mellowed out an inch in until halfway done. Last half’s taste was the same as beginning.

I love this cigar, my experience with CAO is typically stronger, more stout cigars, but this one is different. It’s got a nice sweetness that is really pleasant and easy to smoke. The construction and everything leaves me with nothing to complain about, this ticks all the boxes for me. l bought a box because of a promo, but I have a feeling they won’t last long…they’re that good!
