Immediately tons of flavors, medium body at the very least. The smoke is rich and very creamy, but still very smooth. Roasted and salted peanuts with dark chocolate. Slight hints of bold coffee and cedar wood with a sweetness coming off the foot smoke. The wrapper needed a few touch-ups so I’m guessing a 65% humidity would assist in the burn. Paired with Numi’s Moroccan Mint tea to add another dimension to those subtle sweet/savory flavors.

Epic!! This is hands down Cigars Dailys best stick! Bold and creamy right upon lighting, and the flavor just keeps coming! Only issue was with the burn but nothing crazy. Simple touch up and I was right back to that sweet and creamy goodness! Cant wait to order more!

Good medium body cigar. Its loosely packed and has an open draw. Flavors are very nice; get hints of cedar, cocoa, coffee and cedar. Has a bit of pepper on the retrohale. It’s a good daily cigar, took off a star because of the burn. It requires touch ups and not a consistent burn overall.

This is an excellent mid-priced cigar with a very good draw. I would compare it as being equal to branded cigars costing twice as much or more. There was a minor burn issue but that may have been because of the light wind that was blowing. The flavor was light but rich, never overpowering. All in all a stick to look forward to relaxing with.

This is a pass for me. I really wanted to like these but just couldn’t. I would say the construction looks great and the wrapper feels solid. The draw was a lot tighter than I like. Had multiple burn issues I had to touch up multiple times. First third actually had a nice toasted nut, leather flavor which was nice. Had to relight a few times which made the taste really bitter. This may have been my issue for smoking too slow, but I don’t think it was. I have another stick to try later, it’s possibke just had one of those sticks. The wrapper looked and felt great, just can’t get past the burn issues and the flavor profile changing after first third.

New to smoking and have been smoking nothing but Connecticut wrappers only so a good cigar to transition into with out being to strong. I’ve been looking for a cigar that tastes great and doesn’t cost a lot, and one that I would smoke on a regular basis. I got this one in a sampler from CD, and it was fantastic! Smooth and sweet, with a good draw, and no harshness or bitterness down to the nub. I did have to touch it up a few times, but I don’t mind doing that when a cigar tastes this good, at such a great price.
I’ve read a lot of reviews, and tried different sticks, only to be disappointed by them. I was bummed when my Box Pressed Rebellion 6.5×58 torpedo was finished. I’ll be ordering this one a lot. Thank you, Cigars Daily!

Got this stick in the bargain bundle #2. This was my first cigars daily smoke! I was very impressed. Mine burned pretty damn good and had a consistent flavor throughout. Very impressed for the price. Received this cigar in the bargain bundle #2, very impressed! Excellent economy cigar with rich flavor throughout the entire smoke. The burn was very uneven and began to form almost a V ash patter, although this may be due to having smoked it outside with a mild breeze. Overall, awesome cigar!

I’m fairly new to cigars and have been trying different samplers to see what I like. I bought the bargain bundle no. 2 from Cigars Daily to get myself started. After trying a couple of them plus a few others on the side I started looking for a nice medium cigar that was smooth with a hint of spice. That’s when I finally got around to trying the Box Pressed Rebellion. In the first two minutes I knew I found what I was looking for. Amazing flavor and very smooth from beginning to end. Flavour wise it’s very good, and one of the best ones in the sampler pack I got. Nice deep chocolate and coffee taste, with a little spice and pepper on the tip of your tongue. Loses a mark for the wonky burn which kept needing to be touched up, but for the price you can’t go wrong. May become my ‘go to’ bargain stick for my humidor when I place my next bulk order from the UK.

The cigar looks great and had great creamy and earthy flavor at times but I had constant burn issues throughout along w a really tight draw. When I was able to get an even burn on it in the 2nd third it had really nice chocolate notes as well but eventually the burn/draw got so bad it wouldn’t stay lit. Maybe I got an unlucky one. I would try it again due to the nice flavors it had at times and the price.

I was really looking forward to this cigar after seeing all the reviews….. unfortunately, mine required way too many touch ups, the flavour changed every time the burn became uneven. The draw was tight at light up, and then improved. Peppery from the jump . But the burn was ruining the experience, and it was too loosely packed. …. flavours were ok, and no real changes in flavour throughout

Don’t let my opinion get on your road, give it a go it might be right up your street.
Thought the flavour to be quite harsh, not smooth at all, the burn was a pain in the arse for the first half but persistence will pay off as in the final third is where this stick hits its mark, the harshness fades and it opens up into a decent smoke for the price,. The burn in the final third really improved.
Decent amount of spice and would pair well with some ginger ale.
This review is based on smoking the stick upon arrival after over a week in transport and as it is my first non-premium smoke my opinion may be skewed, I will shove the other one into a humidor for a month and see if it’s any better.

The Box-Pressed Rebellion in the Robusto size is just a great cigar.
From first light to smoking it down to a 3/4″ long nub, I enjoyed every last draw. Super flavorful right away, slightly tight draw made for a 90 minute smoke, burned near perfectly and left a nice white, compact ash.
I’ve had 5 different American Viking cigars and this one is by far the best one in my estimation.
Be aware, if you smoke the whole stick, while having a whiskey, this will kick you in the butt a bit.
Can’t wait to get more of these!

Hands down my favorite from this line. Don’t get me wrong I love the Filthy Viking, but this one brought it to a whole new level. I would even go as far as comparing it to the Oliva V series! So smooth, aromatic, and creamy. I hardly tasted any spice to it except a hint on the retrohale. Nonetheless I think this is the PERFECT cigar for any newer aficionados trying to upgrade from the typical Connecticut shade blends. Amazing.

Great cigar, lots of flavor and held the ash incredibly well. Only had to do slight touch ups after the ash fell. Only been aging this one for a few months. Tons of spice in the back of the throat from light up. Spice went away by 2/3. Poor burn. Felt heat from the cherry on my tongue right from light up. Had like gaps in the construction? For me it took until the 2/3 for the flavors to come alive, but they didn’t land for me. I oddly got burnt saltine cracker and anise? Maybe it was my pallette, but this didn’t land. Final third was good. I don’t know, but I really wanted to like it but it just wasn’t it for me.

So I picked up a few cigars recently and for my review I’m sadly giving it a 3 star, sorry Tim! It was okay to me but was a two flavored note cigar for the most part, lightly woody with leather the whole way through with only a hint of chocolate and sweetness at the first 3rd. But other than that it did not stand out to me, the crazy thing is I had a Blackbird Nest Maduro Toro (6×50) which is only $3.50 a stick and had way more flavor and better burn. Again it was a good cigar, it just wasn’t for me.

I save the “five star” rating for the “elite” cigars which, in my relatively new (Sept. 2024) journey into premium cigars, typically cost $10 plus/stick. However, as cigars have been increasing in price, my “elite” price range may soon have to be adjusted. But this is a great smoke. If you aren’t smoking it until it burns your fingers, you are wasting it! I had my first one in a sample pack and liked it so much I bought a box. I will be keeping these stocked in my humidor(s).

With that said I’ve gotten to light this one up the other day and let me say this was the one of the most enjoyable sticks ive had so far. There are maybe 3 cigars I have had that I would call box worthy for me. The box pressed Rebellion is one of them.
