The American Bully is an ode to the grit and determination of the American bulldog. This powerful AJ Fernandez made cigar is crafted with a bold leathery Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper over binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The cigar is crafted at AJ’s Tabacalera Annex Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The blend brings a powerful bark with no bite. It’s a complex slow burning powerhouse of a cigar with tasting notes of molasses, dark cocoa, charred oak, Black cherry, roasted nuts, and leather.

This cigar is a banger. One of the most complex AJ Fernandez blends I’ve had. I’m getting everything from intense black cherry sweetness and molasses to oak, baking spices, and a well balanced peppery quality on the edges that isnt at all overkill. The flavors are deep and rich and the finish is ridiculously long. Smoke output it top notch. This one fires on all cylinders.

Greetings lovers of the leaf,
The cigar is very tasty. It starts a hit of pepper followed by an oak like dry cocoa flavor. There is also a slight sweetness. The burn is not razor but it stayed good through out the burn. Great smoke output from to 2 that I have tried. Half way through I do get a leathery oak. The chocolate flavor now to me seems like a milk chocolate now. Again C.D. thanks again

Of course Cigars Daily delivered my cigars quickly and packaged exceptionally. Terrence is the man! The cigars came ready to smoke and I lit one up right away. Very interesting cigar. Sort of reminded me of the West Tampa Circle of Life. Great earthy and dark noted cigar. Glad I got a box and of course I will shop with Cigars Daily again.

Absolutely fantastic cigar. I don’t have the palate for tasting notes but I may dare compare this to a Liga Privada T52. This cigar is packed with great flavor and it is a dense cigar.

Really was excited to try this cigar.
It seemed very mild to me though. I got the notes of cocoa and molasses. It was very smooth and burned well, however it wasn’t the strong flavors I was expecting. It goes really well with coffee. I absolutely love the band!

This stick is one of the best I’ve smoked in 2025. It’s beautifully constructed and pours out wonderful., gossamer tendrils of smoke. The draw is excellent. The burn is smooth and consistent. No touch ups needed for the full length of the Bully. The flavor cascade includes cocoa, espresso, earth, pepper and whatever else your palate decides. It’s a full on 90 minute smoke that will leave you understanding why many consider this stick to be a legitimately full-bodied gem, full-flavored gem of a cigar.

I literally burned every AJF sticks out there. When I saw this on Cigars Daily I had to try it. Typical AJ Fernandez, good construction, great taste, consistent burn to the end. Dark chocolate and expresso notes. Little pepper on the retro. Overall a pleasant experience.
