This blend is hearty and rich, yet smooth and pleasant. The name Double Broadleaf refers to the wrapper and binder of the blend. Both are produced using Connecticut Broadleaf seeds grown in the rich soils of Honduras. Beneath is a filler made up of tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. Light up this dark beauty and treat your palate with thick notes of coffee, earth, rye, malt, and pepper. Great flavor. Pepper in the first two thirds with coffee throughout. I’m assuming the other flavor I picked up was malt with rye in the final third. Held a great ash. Burn needed too many touch ups for 5 stars.
