The Reserva exists because Julio Eiroa wanted to know what the Authentic Corojo could do with more of everything. More time in fermentation. More careful selection. More intentional production at Las Lomas, the small factory sitting right alongside the JRE farm in the Jamastrán Valley. The result is a cigar that shares the same DNA as the standard Aladino Corojo but operates at a different level entirely. Each stick arrives tissue-wrapped in a wooden box, which is not a packaging gimmick. It is a signal about what is inside.
The 6×52 gives the Authentic Corojo room to develop across a longer smoke, and it uses that room well. Cedar and baking spice up front, then dark chocolate and leather emerge through the second third, with a complexity that builds steadily toward a long, satisfying finish loaded with red pepper and a natural tobacco sweetness that lingers. Medium-full in body, flawlessly constructed, and limited to just 300 boxes a month. Around fourteen dollars. This is the Corojo for the person who already loves the Corojo and wants to go deeper.
