Rare and unmistakably complex, Partagas Cortado is a first for the brand. Two firsts, actually. It’s the first Partagas crafted in Nicaragua, as well as the first to feature a Connecticut shade wrapper. Composed of a meticulous blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos cloaked inside an Ecuadoran Connecticut-seed wrapper, each puff gives way to flavorful hints of spice and creamy sweetness, offset by a peppery earthiness.

I had a super gnarly burn all the way down. The flavor notes went so well with each other. Peanuts, graham crackers, aromatic florals, and an earthy spice toward the end. Lovely aftertaste too. The draw didn’t open up until the 2nd third. I’d say if i had less contruction issues, i might have given it 5 stars. Worth a try if you are looking for a Connecticut with some character.

The flavors on the cigar were outstanding and very unique for being in the 8$ price range! This will definitely be a part of my rotation. However, the cigar had a burn that needed a lot of correction and a wicked-looking ash that frayed a lot.

Three stars only because l am not a Connecticut guy. Connecticut shade cigars just don’t give me the flavor profile l desire. However the over all construction/burn/draw and flavor were good.
