Some cigars earn their reputation one vitola at a time. The Ferio Tego Timeless Prestige Robusto is the compact format of one of the most decorated blends Michael Herklots has ever put his name on, a 92-rated construction born at Nat Sherman in 2012 and carried forward into Ferio Tego when Herklots and Brendon Scott relaunched the brand in 2021. At 4.75×50, this is the tightest expression of the Prestige blend in the regular lineup, and what that means in practice is a denser, more concentrated smoke where every note comes at you a little harder and a little sooner.
The Honduran wrapper brings that characteristic dark, earthy character right from the cold draw, the Dominican binder keeps construction dialed in perfectly, and the six-tobacco blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers delivers leather, pepper, coffee, earth, and chocolate in a format that clocks in right around forty minutes. Handcrafted at Quesada’s TABADEX factory in Santiago, this is the Prestige for the days when you don’t have an hour but you’re not willing to compromise on quality. Rated 91 by a Neptune Cigar reviewer. Under twelve bucks. Herklots built this blend to last, and the Robusto proves it can do that in less time than any other size in the lineup.
