AJ Fernandez has been making cigars for Diesel since the brand launched in 2009, and in that time this partnership has quietly built one of the most decorated track records in Nicaraguan cigar making. This fresh pack pulls together four of the best results: the Whiskey Row, the Whiskey Row Sherry Cask, the Vintage Series Maduro, and the Vintage Series Natural, all in Toro, all with a 90+ score from Cigar Aficionado, and all sealed with Boveda humidification so they’re ready to fire up the second you crack the pack.

The Whiskey Row brought a bourbon barrel-aged San Andrés binder into the conversation and earned a 91. The Sherry Cask answered that with a Pedro Ximénez-aged Brazilian Arapiraca binder for something darker and more refined. The Vintage Series Maduro stacked five-to-eight-year-old Jalapa tobaccos under a rustic San Andrés wrapper for an under-$10 cigar that smokes like it costs twice that.

The Vintage Series Natural took those same aged Jalapa fillers and dressed them in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper for a slightly cooler, more nuanced ride. Bold flavors across the board, medium-full to full strength, four different personalities. This is Diesel doing what Diesel does best.
