The El Rey Del Mundo Appointment is a cigar crafted with purpose. This blend has been handmade in Honduras with a vivid sun kissed Cameroon seed wrapper over Connecticut Broadleaf binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. The resulting experience offers a wildly bright flavor profile with notes of cinnamon, cedar, earth, and vibrant sweetness. It’s a cigar for those who understand the importance of selecting the right cigar for the right moment.

I raise my rating a bit. The best part of this cigar is the second third when the tobacco heats up a little. Some new cedar undertones arise. Not bad.

A slight bite of pepper and spice at light up that lingering in the back of the throat. Getting flavor notes of leather in the first third. Very smooth with heavy smoke with each puff. Going into the 2nd 3rd, I’m still getting a leatheriness with slight notes of earth. There is not much flavor development, but still great flavor overall. Towards the end of the 2nd 3rd and going into the final, I had more of a nuttiness, and I didn’t get much of any other flavor development. Still very smooth with each puff. Overall, it was a decent cigar but not a lot of development in the flavor department. The draw was ideal from start to finish with no change. The burn was exceptional, with no touch-ups needed showing great construction. I’ll be coming back to this cigar as I did enjoy the heavy smoke and the smoothness of it.
