From La Galera’s website, “Our reserves largely consist of tobacco grown in our farms; however, significant portions of our holdings have come from scouring the world’s best farms to secure collections flushed with potential to mature into something special. In doing so, we’re able to focus solely on crafting blends that deliver the most exceptional quality and experience like La Galera Maduro.”

Amazing construction an razor burn lines. Earthy coco an mild pepper. Well over an hour of enjoyment great any time of day medium strength an lots of smoke output. One or two is not enough. Get a five pack.

This cigar has nice invisible tight seams with a dark and oily looking wrapper. Big nice looking band. The “Cut and a light” kicks off with some white pepper, coco, and dry earth. The draw is the hardest Ive encounter yet. It’s very solid like there’s way too much filler rolled inside. Very uneven burn. Medium strength, full body. Leaves a scorching coffee and pepper on the tongue. Smooth peppery retro hale. Ash held on for an inch and a half. In the second third, there’s an under the tongue citrus. Slight cinnamon and cedar wood. The ash is a tight multi color. The strength has picked up on nicotine. Not much sweetness. It finishes with black pepper and coco and the draw is still tight but has yielded more smoke now. The nicotine is a kicker. It smoked fairly fast. I had to touch it up the whole time. It has gotten smoother towards the end. I had to use a tunneling tool on it. Just over an hour of smoke time.
