In the early 1800s, United States Representative Henry Clay Advanced to become the Speaker of the House. Always a patriot, Clay believed that a powerful military was imperative to keeping the British at bay. The term War Hawk was coined to describe someone who views war as the definitive conflict resolution. This blend was created to pay homage to Henry Clay the War Hawk and the Patriot. This stick is a bit of a rebel itself, using a Connecticut wrapper when most other Henry Clay blends use a Broadleaf Wrapper. Rated 95 by Cigar Aficionado and the #10 cigar of 2020, the War Hawk pumps out balanced yet bold notes of cedar, cocoa, earth, and spice. Grab your War Hawk today and see what all the buzz is about!

Smoked one of these bad boys today. I have definitely grown to love the ol Warhawk as of late and it continuously impresses me. This thing is not a mere Connecticut in the traditional sense, at least to me, because it packs a punch. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the last third gets up there in power and there is so many better cigars out there, but it’s worth it. Just buy it.

I enjoyed this cigar, front to back. Very smooth throughout, with a very clean burn line. A little spice from the CT wrapper, with leather and wood predominant. I didn’t note any flavor transitions. The pleasant taste, consistency, and great construction will keep a few of these in the humidor. This was a 75 minute cigar.
